I have been teaching anatomy and physiology for several years now and I have had great results from students. Because there are so many terms and definitions to learn with anatomy and physiology I believe it is very important to consistently test student’s knowledge.
The process I follow is a very simple but effective one. I test students at the beginning of each class on classwork from the previous week. I then give my students puzzles and quizzes to complete at the end of class and at home.
I have been using the 2 study guides mentioned in the article for some time and I always recommend my students to get copies for practice at home. I have received great feedback using these guides and have tried to give an honest description and review of each one.
